Mediation Training
NJAPM provides basic training for both civil and divorce mediators. It offers a 40 Hour Divorce Mediation Training Course in the fall and spring of each year. It also offers a 24 Hour Civil Mediation Training Course in the fall and spring of each year. Please see the calendar section for the dates and registration forms.
The Association offers advanced mediation training as well including:
- Advanced seminars for both civil and divorce mediators. Both seminars are held in the spring of each year.
- An annual conference in November.
- General meetings bi-monthly which have featured such past topics as micro-expression and truth detection, personality styles, and child support guidelines.
- Member led training on various topics.
Other organizations also offer mediation training. NJAPM provides the list of mediation training courses below as a service to NJAPM members and visitors to this site. By providing this list, NJAPM does not endorse any specific training course except for those that are offered by NJAPM, by itself or jointly with another organization. NJAPM reserves the right to refuse listing to any training course. Discounts available to NJAPM members are indicated in each listing.
