- Foster public awareness of mediation as the preferred method of dispute resolution
- Provide information to the public about mediators that meet our standards for accreditation
- Protect the public through standards of conduct for our mediators
- Act as a training, educational and collegial resource for mediators in New Jersey.

Attorney Matt Abatemarco will speak on "A Review Attorney's Perspective on Family Mediation MOUs." Matt practices with Atkinson & DeBartolo, P.C., and is a recipient of the Deborah Michael Richards Award for Family Law. The meeting will start at 6:00 PM with an informal reception and the program will commence at 6:30 PM.
Spring 2010 28-Hour Basic Civil Mediation Training Course
NJAPM is now taking reservations for the Spring 2010 28-Hour Basic Civil Mediation Training Course, which will be held on April 26, 27 and May 3 and 4 at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ.
Winter 2009/2010 Civil Mediation Apprenticeship
REGISTER NOW for the NJAPM sponsored civil mediation apprenticeship program commencing in winter 2009/2010. The apprenticeship will be 10 weeks of mentored actual cases in small claims, special civil or municipal court.
Spring 2010 40-Hour Divorce Mediation Training Course
NJAPM's Spring 2010 40-Hour Divorce Mediation Training will be held on March 6, 7 13, 20 and 21, 2010 at the Crown Plaza Hotel, Monroe Township, NJ (exit 8A off the NJ Turnpike). Enrollment is limited to the first 24 students.
